CostaCaddie sets no cookies at all — including for audience measurement. This page explains what is and is not stored on your device.

No cookies are set, no tracking pixels are loaded, no advertising scripts run, and no fingerprinting is attempted. Nothing here follows you to another site.
That is a design decision rather than a temporary state. A reference site of tables and dates has no functional need for cookies, and asking every reader to dismiss a banner for our convenience would be a poor trade.
One thing is written to your browser and is worth naming rather than glossing over. The framework this site is built on keeps scroll positions in sessionStorage so the back button returns you to where you were. It is erased when you close the tab, never leaves your device, and is not readable by us.
How visits are counted
Audience measurement uses PostHog in cookieless mode, on their EU servers in Frankfurt. It writes no cookie and stores nothing on your device. Visitors are counted using a hash computed on PostHog's servers, which cannot be tied back to you and is not usable for advertising.
In exchange for that, the numbers are approximate: we cannot recognise a returning reader, and we hold no profiles. We consider that a fair price, and it is why this site has no consent banner — there is nothing stored on your device to ask you about.
What we can see
Page views, the country and browser your request reports, the page that referred you, and clicks on links. That is enough to answer whether anyone is reading and whether AI assistants are sending anyone here, which is the only question we are asking of it.
Your control
There is no consent to withdraw, because nothing is stored on your device to withdraw it from. If you would rather not be counted at all, any tracker blocker will block the measurement script, and the site works identically without it — no feature here depends on JavaScript.
Clearing site data for costacaddie.com in your browser settings removes the scroll positions described above. Nothing else of ours is there to remove.
